Municipal Election 2015

The mayor, all aldermen at large, all ward aldermen and five school committee member offices are open for election in 2015. The final election will be November 3, 2015. A preliminary election will be held in Ward One and Ward Seven only on August 25, 2015. The preliminary election will narrow the list of candidates for Alderman Ward One and Alderman Ward Severn to two for each office. Polls in Ward One and Ward Seven will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2015.

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot for the Preliminary Election is Monday, August 24, 2015 at 12:00 noon. All absentee ballots must be returned to the Office of the City Clerk by Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. Absentee ballots can be voted over the counter at the Office of the City Clerk or mailed to a voter upon receipt of an application at the Office of the City Clerk.
